You'll have to excuse the bad pics....this was a few years ago and my first attempt at this recipe. I've done it several times since then, but the pictures appear to be lost in cyberspace some where! But, you get the general idea..... Blue Cheese/Onion BurgerGround Chuck patty's, about 1" thick Vidalia Onion slices, at least ΒΌ" thick Cumbled Blue Cheese, or Blue Cheese dressing American, Swiss or Provolone cheese (or your favorite) Take a slice of the onion and press it down into the hamburger patty, remove the onion. Season the burger and the onion slice, if desired. Put the onion slice on the grill along with the patty, indented side DOWN. After the flip, place the onion into the indent on the burger. Let cook for a couple of minutes and then add your Blue Cheese. Once the Blue Cheese has melted, add your other cheese of choice. Once it's melted, serve on a bun with your condiments of choice.
