Do you put the spices with the pork when grinding, or after it is ground ? I plan to do Italian sausages.

Do you put the spices with the pork when grinding, or after it is ground ? I plan to do Italian sausages. You can do either, but I prefer to add the mix with the pork before i grind it. It seems to mix in better.
