I just had one of my cows processed....and for the past 25 years we have always had it wrapped in paper and frozen..this time I had it vacuum packed...do you prefer one over the other?

Vacuum packed, hands down No air = no freezer burn or any deterioration. I have a Food Saver at home and vac everything I cut or buy in the 'fresh' line.

I am going to buy myslef a foodsaver for Christmas...
Any model that you like better than the others..?

I am going to buy myslef a foodsaver for Christmas... Any model that you like better than the others..? They all serve a purpose. I generally buy (last two) the one's featured at Costo or Sam's.
