An Italian influenced Argentine dish. Been raining quit a bit here. This is good stuff because we need it. You'll have to figure out if I'm talking about the rain Take your 1.5 lb ., or so, flank steak and slice it it half horizontally. Bang the pieces flat with your favorite meat mallet and soak them in milk for a couple of hours. Buttermilk would probably be a better choice but I'm following a traditional recipe. Discard the milk, dry the steaks with paper towels, place them on a sheet pan (I lined mine with parchment paper) and cover them with the tomato sauce you just made. Top the whole shebang off with plenty of fresh mozzarella. Like most Italian and/or Italian influenced dishes this is a simple one so use the finest ingredients available. Set your grill at 425ºF for this cook. The steaks are pounded thin so this won't take long. Finished Plated over pasta
