I was butchering deer in Wisconsin in the fall of 2016. I noticed some yellow sacks/nodes along the spine about 5 inches apart. I have never noticed these before in all my other years hunting. Is it safe to eat do you think? Is it maybe CWD or something even worse? I do possess one okay photo.

Thanks I'm not exactly sure what it is, but in my opinion, if it doesn't look natural I wouldn't eat it. It might be CWD, the following web site will more than likely help you.
