A couple weeks ago Costco had a coupon for $4.50 off a purchase of New Zealand Rack of Lamb. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/askabutcher/New/41907schitlamb3.jpg) Ok....I'll bite, only $12 bux for a couple of Lamb Racks??? Sure............... Wrong!!! The "two individually sealed portions" were actually ONE rack cut in half ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) Me, of all people, should know better, but in my exuberance of getting a "deal", I was not thinking properly ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Alright, they sat in the freezer for a couple of weeks and decided to cook them last night. They were partially cooked and were coated with garlic, parsley and thyme. Thawed them out and grilled at 450° for approximately 7-8 minutes per side. Looks good, huh? ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v299/askabutcher/New/41907schitlamb2.jpg) Wrong again!!!! I will have to admit that this lamb was the WORST stuff I've ever had the displeasure of putting into my mouth. Hands down, I've never tasted anything so vile ![](http://www.pregnancy.org/phpBB2/images/smiles/062802puke_prv.gif) I even rinsed my palate with some straight rum and tried to taste it again. Nope. Still tasted like schitt. It wasn't spoiled, just nasty ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) Luckily I had some left over pizza from the night before ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Anyway, should you be tempted to try this product at Costco, BUYER BEWARE!
