Water and ice will be supplied. FIRE UP THE GRILL CLUB First of all, we would like to thank all of you for your response to our first cooking club meeting. We are happy to say, we now have owners of all types of grills and smokers adding their names to the list! For those of you who missed it, we were all very pleased with our first speaker Rick McDonald (owner of Rick’s Seafood). Rick not only broadened our knowledge of seafood, but also took away many of our fears. Our next guest is a retired butcher who also has a very informative website, www.ask-a-butcher.com He will be demonstrating a couple of ways to cut up chicken for your grill (regular and Spatchcocking) and how to dissect a Beef Brisket. This is one you won’t want to miss! We will be firing up a Primo along with the Cookshack smoker to give everyone a taste of things to come! Look forward to seeing you all and as always…Tell a friend!!

Just a small recap of the Fire Up the Grill Cooking Club meeting last night in Pt. Charlotte, Fl. Here I am demonstrating the various methods for cuttng up a whole chicken. Here is another shot of the crowd. There was between 45-50 people at this, only the second meeting! I'm preparing to split the Point from the Flat on a whole packer trim Brisket. There's Mr. Bean, to the left of the sign, with his hand over his mouth. Not sure if he was stifling a yawn or was in shock There's Dave, owner of Fire Up The Grill...tall guy in the back with the red shirt I want to compliment Dave and his wife, Lisa, for a very nice well run meeting, great bbq and grill store and for coming up with the idea for the 'cooking club' This helps out new and prospective buyers of the various grills that he handles. Primo being one of them. Met a lot of super folks last night and I apologize for not remembering names...me bad Refreshments were served (cooked on the Primo Oval and a Cookshack smoker) along with assorted beverages.
