BaconBleu Burger 1 Ground Chuck burger patty, approx 7-8 oz 2 TBS crumbled Bleu Cheese 1 TBS crumbled cooked bacon 1 tsp melted butter Black pepper Granulated Garlic Season the burger with the pepper and garlic*. Cook on your grill direct for roughly 3-4 minutes per side and then move to the indirect side to finish cooking. Mix the Bleu Cheese, bacon and butter together to form a loose paste. When the internal temp of the burger reaches 125°, cover the top of the patty with the cheese/bacon mix. Close vent and cook until cheese is melted, approx 5 minutes, or until the burger is done to your preference. * With the sodium content of the cheese and the bacon around 10-12% each, I opted to omit the salt on the burger itself. Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: approx 15-20 minutes
