Bbq'ed Crab/shrimp Casserole 1 lb surimi (imitation crab), flaked ½ doz cooked shrimp, chopped 1 10.75 oz Cream of Shrimp soup 3 cups (approx) cooked pasta (I used Rotini) 4-6 oz sour cream 4 oz cream cheese 2-3 Tbs Cheese Whiz 9 frozen Onion Rings ¼ cup Shredded cheese, your choice To taste black pepper, granualted garlic, tarragon, chives, salsa salad seasoning 1 tsp smoked paprika In a large bowl combine the soup, sour cream, softened cream cheese & Cheese Whiz and the seasonings, except for the smoked paprika. Mix well, adjust taste to your likes. Add the flaked surimi, shrimp and pasta. Mix well. Turn into a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheese and smoked paprika over the top. Place the onion rings over the top of the casserole. Cook uncovered in a pre-heated 350° grill, indirect, or an oven. Remove when casserole is bubbly and the onion rings are crispy brown. Cooking Tips If the onion rings are too brown for your liking, place them on the casserole half way through the cooking process.
