A change of pace from tomato based catsup. Great on hot dogs and burgers  UNITS: US Ingredients 4 cups unsweetened applesauce 1 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon clove 1 teaspoon mustard 1 teaspoon onion powder 2 teaspoons salt 2 cups vinegar 1 teaspoon pepper Directions Combine all ingredients and bring to a simmer. Simmer over medium low heat until thickened, stirring occasionally.

I made this today with a few differences....... 1) I halved the recipe 2) cut the vinegar to ½ cup 3) added 2 TBS honey Very happy with the outcome
