I was at my local Winn-Dixie (Spring Hill, Fl) the other day and noticed they were putting out some PorterHouses and T-Bones in a pink sytrofoam tray instead of the traditional white. After speaking with the meat mgr I found out this beef born in the US, raised and fed in Mexico and then shipped back to the US for processing. This more or less bypasses the old COOL (country of origin) and they don't have to list "Product of Mexico" unless it's a whole piece still in it's vacuum package. I bought some bone-in Rib Steaks and a boneless Peeled Butt Tender. You can see the difference in labeling.
