A friend of mine owns a Primo Junior and he recently invited us over for breakfast. I ate mine without the buns and it was still top shelf groceries
Here is the recipe as explained to me.........
for each sandwich....
1/2 pound of breakfast sausage, ( I used Jimmy Dean) made into a patty, formed around a beer can to make a pocket. Wrap 2 slices of applewood bacon around the outside edge and secure with toothpicks. Cook indirect on the grill at around 300° for about 45 minutes, add an egg to the pocket, top with a little cheddar and a bit of chopped leek, cook until the egg sets, 15-20 minutes. Optional: serve on a toasted onion or ciabatta roll
