These sound delicious!! However, just for my tastes, I'd skip the peppers and add some portabella mushrooms These are beer-steamed chili cheeseburgers, a recipe by Sara Moulton. the RECIPE

Just a few changes from the recipe..........NO peppers or chili's were used. Sliced portabello mushrooms with sliced onions sauteed in olive oil. No reduction of pan juices, but I did use some vidalia onion steak sauce. This is a keeper
