Peggy Ann's BBQ Sauce (It's actually her husband Mike's recipe)
1½ cups apple cider vinegar 1-20 oz bottle ketchup 1½ teas to 1 TBS paprika 2 TBS Dark brown sugar (or light if you prefer) 1½ TBS salt 1 tsp black pepper 2¼ tsp red pepper flakes 1 tsp garlic powder and/or chopped garlic 1 to 1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce 3 TBS fresh lemon juice 1 TBS of horseradish (optional)
Mix all together and store for up to 1 month in the refrigerator.
Optional: Although Peggy says you can mix the ingredients at room temp, I always like to heat the liquid slowly so that the brown sugar will melt and blend better
