Hi! Didn't think I'd ever be on a butcher site!!! But I am totally confused. Trying recipe for do-ahead ribs for a houseful of company. Recipe calls for 12-15 lbs. of country style ribs. However, after purchasing these at my local supermarket (ahem....) I find that what is in the package is an assortment of pork chop type cuts. What's up with this? Recipe is to bake (with small amount of water) for 1-1/2 to 2 hours (do ahead up to 48 hrs.) Then to grill about 2 hrs. before company arrives with a variety of sauces; keeping ribs warm in crock pot or other warm serving pot till served! What the heck type of chops am I supposed to buy? ? Called supermarket and they were no help. This should be eaten with fingers. Your picture of country style ribs is exactly what I need. How do I order them? Is this a case of semantics? Help! Desperate hostess!

Desperate hostess! Well, you didn't say where you were from, but it doesn't really matter as most stores call them any name they want! Ask them to cut you some 'Pork Rib End Roast' Pork Chops about 1½-2" thick and then to split those in half...like in the photo. Maybe you should print it out for them?
