I am attempting to find (and deep fry) and uncooked ham, having no luck. Does ham refer to a certain cut or does that indicate that the pork has been somehow cured or smoked? Any suggestions? Thanks!

An "UN-cooked" ham is nothing more than a 'fresh' Ham leg (hind leg) or pork Shoulder Picnic. Should be able to find them this time of year at a specialty butcher shop or high end grocer between now and New Years. Good Luck. I know folks that deep fry Pork Shoulder Blade Roasts, aka Boston Butts, and have great success with them. These can be found at Costco or Sam's, usually as a two-pack.

I just joined this board today & it is exactly what I have been looking for. I am 60 y/o & I have just (in the last 2 years) became strongly attracted to outdoor grilling.
There is a picture that comes to veiw when you go to a different page. It looks to be country backbones w/ baked beans, and some sort of broc. & cualif. salad. Where could I find this recipe?

Welcome to the forum! Are you referring to the photo at the top this page? If so, which particular recipe you looking for....the ribs, beans or salad?
