Hi Steve - In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I was wondering if you would be willing to put together a video on "how to debone a whole turkey...without ruining it" to show us how a real butcher does it I've learned to spatchcock and cut up my own birds with huge success, with all thanks going to you! Now, I'm looking for some more fancy, shmancy knife work to impress myself Let me know. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too much trouble. Thanks. Dale

Dale Hi Dale, glad I could help with your spatchcocking, etc Deboning a turkey I have not deboned a turkey since I got out of the business in 2001. Good ol Mrs. Knorr....she would bring me in a turkey every year the day before New Years and ask me to bone it out for her. Of course she bought the turkey elsewhere and I would never see her again until the next New Year, but she always gave me a $20 tip for doing it for her. Any way, that's a good idea and I may just do that one of these days and post it here. I did debone a chicken this past year for a recipe I came up with. It can be found here.... askabutcher.proboards42.com/index.cgi?board=chix&action=display&thread=572Until I get that video done, here is a great tutorial for you to work with. homecooking.about.com/od/turkeyrecipes/ss/deboneturkeysbs.htmGood luck, have fun and let me know how you made out. Steve
