I noticed that you use English Muffins as hamburger buns. I've never tried that but plan on trying it this weekend. I hate using "off the shelf" hamburger and hotdog buns.
Are there other breads that you would recommend for hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwhiches, etc.?

Are there other breads that you would recommend for hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwhiches, etc.? Normally, I like plain old el cheapo buns for my burgers and pulled pork/beef sammiches. Why? I just need something to hold the meat with. I want to taste the meat, not the bread. (OK, an onion roll every now and then) Nothing pizzes me off more than going to a restaurant, ordering a $10 burger and they bring it on a hard roll. Soon as I bite into it, the lil b*stard slides out the back!!! ;D That said, you gotta have RYE for Reubens. I like a nice onion roll for Pit Beef or Beef on Weck (sorry Buffaloites!!) Hot Dogs I like the New England split rolls, but you can't find them down here
