Looked at a package of pork rib tips. Seemed like they were more bone than anything else, but maybe the view was obstructed. Photos of some pork rib tips showed lots of meat. was what I saw in the market unusual, or are "rib tips" really mostly bone? Appreciate some insight on this. Thanks. Redneck's Kitchen... Gus

Gus "Rib Tips" are generally (but not always) cut from the breast bone after it has been cut from the full slab to make St. Louis Style Spareribs. Note: the Breast bone is in the middle of the pic  click for larger image They can be bony, but there is still lots of meat there. Try a package and see if you like them. I use them for 'snacking', or to put in beans, veggies, etc.
