Put 12 lb. packer on my Primo XL at 10 pm, temp set for 195'. When I went to bed the temp was @ 207' and food temps were rising fine. Woke at 3 AM and pit temp was 190', food was about 138'. At 7 am pit was at 135' food at 120'. Some how the fan was unplugged. By 8:30 AM food temp was back above 140'. NOt sure where the food temp peaked at night. It is safe to eat?

Hmmmm.....looks like a judgement call from here. I didn't see the food temp above 140 at all (unless I missed something?/). If it was me I would not take a chance with it. Better safe than sorry..... Always remember the "140° food safety" rule linkBasically any perishable food that has been between 40° and 140° for longer than four hours is a suspect for the trash can.
