All whole foods plant based people are vegan but not all vegans are whole foods plant based.
Is it possible to eat an unhealthy vegan diet? Absolutely.
Here’s an example unhealthy vegan
Breakfast:
All purpose flour pancakes made with full fat soy milk and fried in Coconut oil and covered with vegan butter and maple syrup
Mid morning snack:
Packaged granola bar
Lunch:
High fat soy protein isolate vegan burger with soy cheese with sugary white flour bun
Vegan mayo
Salted French fries
Mid afternoon snack:
Vegan doughnut
Dinner:
Pizza w/soy cheese, soy pepperoni and evoo
Vegan apple pie
Vegan ice cream
Late night snack:
Popcorn popped in oil with added vegan butter and salt
This is as low fiber, low in omega 3's, high in saturated fat, salt and sugar as the typical SAD. Points for saving the planet and the animals but obesity, diet related disease, and an early demise are down the road. Yes, there are skinny-fat and obese vegans.

The cure, and reversal of diet related diseases like obesity, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and others is found in the diet of human beings. Whole unprocessed plant foods with no added oil, salt, sugar or super concentrated foods that do not exist in nature. One must eat nutrient dense, low fat, high fiber plant foods. We have been the victims of industry based misinformation for our entire lives. We are not omnivores. We are herbivores.
