A Delicious Reminder That You Should Bake Bacon Baking BaconThat's the only way I cook bacon now. I put the bacon on a greased cooking rack over a foil lined pan and bake the thicker slices for approximately 18-20 minutes. I will bake 2 lbs of of the thick bacon in two batches, drain it, cool it and layer between wax paper, store in the fridge and nuke the slices as needed.
