I am building a new house, have located a Primo dealer and am anxious to get the Primo XL. We are living about 6 blocks from the new house and I would like to get the grill NOW ! If I am cautious, remove the firebox and drive slowly with the grill in the cradle on a lowboy trailer are there any more precautions to moving the grill? Should I wait anothr six month to buy it? The dealer is somewhat dubious about moving the grill but I have several buddies that will help in moving. Any suggestions appreciated.

Bill Congrats on your decision on the Primo ;D Yes, definitely remove the firebox from the grill. In fact, remove every thing from the shell. If it's the OLD style cradle, I would NOT transport the XL in it, as it is very top heavy. If the new style cradle, you probably will be OK. Use at least three people to get the grill in and out of the cradle, it's a dead weight of 192 lbs. Good Luck BTW, this is the OLD style cradle
