Hello, having a get together this coming weekend and will be making some Cochinta Pibil(slow cooked pork wrapped in banana leaves) in a crock/slow cooker. Not sure what I'll be getting in terms of cut as it will be whatever is on sale as we are all poor college guys:) Most likely Cushion(.99) or shoulder(1.29) though based on the sales I've been seeing lately. I'm unsure of how much to buy though. I was thinking 2 servings per lb of uncooked meat. so for 35 of us 17lbs. we are all hungry kids which is why i went for the 2 instead of 3 per lb #. What is you formula when calculating things like this though. I'm really thinking it might be too much but as the meat cuts and they pull it it does become less. any help is appreciate.
