This is ez, quick and goes great with que Microwave Bread & Butter Pickles 2 cups sliced cucumber, thin 3/4 cup onion sliced thin (I like Vidalia) 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp mustard seed 1/4 tsp celery seed 1/4 tsp tumeric optional**add ΒΌ tsp dill weed**optional Mix all in a 2 qt. bowl (microwavable) and microwave on High 8 to 9 minutes stirring twice during cooking time. Cukes will be crisp, onions translucent. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours. I tried this recipe using Asparagus, but it needs a little more tweaking. Like mebbe NOT cooking the asparagus
