Rum's Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits (similar to a certain seafood chains version) 1 small box (2 cups) Jiffy Buttermilk Biscuit Mix 2/3 cup of milk ½-¾ cup of SHARP fine shredded cheese 2 TBS butter or margarine ½ tsp granulated garlic 1 tsp red pepper flakes (OPTIONAL) Combine all ingredients, except for spices, until a soft dough forms. Add spices and then beat like hell by hand for about 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls on a lightly greased cookie sheet. This should make a dozen 'normal' size biscuits. Bake at 400° for approx 12 minutes or until tops are nice and brown.
