Doctored Up Chunky Tomato Basil Soup(Yeah not the healthiest, but it was quick and tasty) 2 ripe tomatoes, peeled/seeded/chopped (I used 4 Roma) 1 garlic clove, minced fine 1 tsp dried onion flakes 1-2 TBS olive oil 1 cup (+ or -) spaghetti sauce of your choice (I used olive oil and basil) 1 can condensed tomato soup ½ can (above) Half & Half 1-18oz can Progresso Tomato Basil soup Fresh basil leaves, cut or torn Combine the garlic, onion flakes and olive in a sauce pan at med-low heat. Stir until garlic is soft and fragrant. Add chopped tomatoes and stir until mixture is warm. Turn to medium heat and add the spaghetti sauce, stir until just bubbly. Add the can of tomato soup and the ½ can of half & half. Stir and heat. Add the can of Progress soup, stir, heat until bubbly. Ladle into soup cups and add the fresh basil to the top of the soup.
