From the move I did salvage my Sous-Vide Demi, but I had to leave my crock pot behind (sold house turn key). I saw this little doohickey at Target for $179 (no I didn't buy it) and decided to check it out online. It's a combo sous vide and crock pot in one unit. I found it online at Wayfair for $129, so I pulled the trigger on it Will give it a try out this weekend with some pulled pork. Results will follow in a day or two..........

I had a small boneless pork butt that I seasoned with Badia's "complete seasoning" and some applewood liquid smoke. I decided it didn't have enough fat, so I added a couple thick slices of smoked hog jowl I put it into the sous-vide at 155° for 20 hours. Here it is getting ready for the broiler to give it some "bark" And here is where the "Twilight Zone" showed up. I KNOW I took more pics and I KNOW I uploaded them to "my drive", but dammed if they didn't show up any where! The pulled pork was excellent and with the added jowl it made it even better. It was served with bourbon bbq sauce, cole slaw, baked beans and fresh bread 'n butter corn on the cob. This 'toy' is a keeper and will try the slow cooker part of next with a lamb stew
