Gracoman (or any one), do you have a "good" recipe for green beans and broccoli? I fail terribly at both of these. I'd be happy eating them raw, but the other half prefers cooked. Go figure.......

This is a more interesting question than you realize. Nothing's easy right? Firstly, you are way ahead of the game by eating any and all vegetables raw. But who wants to do that? Especially 100% of the time. It's difficult enough for people to eat even the minimum daily requirement of fruits and vegetables let alone eat them raw. 9 cups per day of raw vegetables raw when most struggle to eat just one? Secondly, I love broccoli. I don't care how its served so you're asking the wrong person. But since reading this I stopped pre chopping and began sprinkling a small amount of mustard powder on all cruciferous vegetables and found I really like it. Sometimes a bit of horseradish but mostly ground mustard. These days I lightly steam or saute and add a pinch of mustard powder. Try Ellis Island's Green Beans. Garlic and EVOO are always good but cut back on the salt. It isn't necessary.
