This is, without a doubt, one of the best things to ever come out of my crock pot and it only has 5 ingredients!! Slow Cooker Kalua PigI used ½ a bone-in butt, substituted Kosher salt and smoked paprika for the Hawaiian salt, used 4 slices 'thick' sliced bacon, cut three cloves of garlic into slivers and inserted them all over the meat. I cooked it for 7-8 hours on LOW setting of the crock pot. and served with parslied potatoes and a veggie medley I was going to shred the left overs and mix with bbq sauce for Pulled Pork, but this roast is so good I'm going to eat the rest 'as is'

I decided to try the same recipe with half a rack of Baby Back Ribs....... Seasoned with the below with the addition of some liquid hickory smoke and wrapped with bacon Into the crockpot After 5 hours of cooking at 'low' Now under the broiler for a few minutes to crisp up the bacon Served with a bourbon/chipotle bbq sauce, beans and potato salad While 'good', they did not come out the way that I wanted. Oh well.......the end result was the same, even if I did eat ribs with a fork
