The eagle landed about 11:30 AM ;D Batch one will be with chicken, mashed taters and gravy Will blanch a couple bags and freeze for later What are Fiddleheads?

Fresh (picked Wed PM) Fiddleheads from Vermont ;D Nothing fancy, just boiled in salted water for 12 minutes, drain, a dot of butter (next batch will get the AAB hog jowl treatment) Served with roasted chicken, mashed taters and gravy

Did up another batch of Fiddleheads last night, this time with some diced hog jowl and garlic. Served with some chiken and mashed taters. It didn't suck!!

Grilled Poke Chop (salt, pepper and Annie's Garlic evoo), last of the Fiddleheads and tater salad. Nice and quick Friday nite meal
