This rub is simple and people will rave about the flavor it gives to pork ribs of all varieties.
1 cup Kosher salt 1 cup Turbinado (raw) sugar ½ cup granulated garlic powder ½ cup ground black pepper (restaurant grind) 2 TBS chili powder 1 TBS thyme 2 TBS granulated onion powder 1 TBS smoked (or reg) Paprika
Mix well and store in an airtight container in a dark place, away from heat. Rub liberally on meat.
